class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most investors have a plan for buying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They ask:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Where should I buy?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How much should I invest?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Where should I buy more?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But I believe there is another equally important question:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What do I do when my investment starts making money?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For me, taking profit is not about finding the perfect top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is about having a plan before the market starts moving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With Linea, I currently use predefined price ranges and four profit-taking levels:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>10% \u2014 20% \u2014 30% \u2014 40%<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These percentages refer to the <strong>profit I am realizing<\/strong>, not the percentage of my entire Linea position that I am selling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That distinction is very important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I Don&#8217;t Sell My Entire Linea Position at Once<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When Linea starts generating profit, I don&#8217;t simply look at the price and decide:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;I&#8217;m selling everything.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead, I prefer to take profit gradually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because I don&#8217;t know what happens next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Linea could continue much higher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The price could stop rising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The market could suddenly reverse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I don&#8217;t want my entire strategy to depend on one decision at one price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gradual profit-taking gives me a middle ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If Linea continues higher after I take some profit, I still have exposure to the move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the price falls afterward, I have already realized part of my profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An Important Difference: Profit vs. Position<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is an important difference between:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Taking 10% of your profit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Selling 10% of your entire position.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are not the same thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, suppose my Linea position is showing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>$1,000 in unrealized profit.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If my strategy tells me to realize 10% of that profit, I would realize:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>$100<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am not necessarily selling 10% of my entire Linea position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am realizing $100 from the profit and then managing that realized amount according to my broader system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The rest of the position remains invested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Do I Take Profit Gradually?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The simple answer is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I don&#8217;t know what happens next.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nobody knows the exact top or bottom of a market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe Linea continues going up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe it reaches a price much higher than I expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe the market suddenly changes direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because of this uncertainty, I prefer to avoid making one large all-or-nothing decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If I sell everything too early and Linea continues higher, I am no longer participating in that move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But if I never take profit and the market suddenly falls, I could watch a large unrealized gain disappear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For me, gradual profit-taking is a way to manage this uncertainty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">My Current Linea Profit-Taking Levels<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My current framework uses four profit-taking levels:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">20%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">30%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">40%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The level I use depends on the price range where Linea is trading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I don&#8217;t simply sell the same amount every time the price moves higher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The price range is part of the strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This gives me a predefined framework instead of forcing me to make a completely new decision every time the market moves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">My Current Linea Price Ranges<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the moment, the two nearby price ranges I am working with are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>$0.0032 \u2013 $0.0067<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>$0.0032 \u2013 $0.012<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are the ranges I am currently using in my personal strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They are <strong>not price predictions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am not saying that Linea will reach $0.0067.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am not saying that Linea will reach $0.012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are simply price ranges I use as part of my personal framework for managing my position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The market will decide what actually happens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Do I Use Price Ranges?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Price ranges make the decision-making process easier for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of constantly asking:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;Should I sell now?&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I already have a framework for what I want to do if the price reaches certain areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is important because emotions can become very strong when crypto starts moving quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When prices rise, greed can appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may start thinking:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Maybe I should wait a little longer.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then a little longer becomes much longer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When prices fall, fear can take over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I don&#8217;t want either greed or fear to completely control my decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s why I prefer having a plan before the market moves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I&#8217;m Not Trying to Sell the Top<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is probably the most important part of my strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I&#8217;m not trying to sell the exact top.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I don&#8217;t think that is realistic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If I take profit and Linea continues higher, that&#8217;s okay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I still have part of my position invested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If Linea falls after I take profit, that&#8217;s okay too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have already realized part of the profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m not trying to be perfect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I&#8217;m trying to be systematic.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Happens After I Take Profit?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taking profit is only one part of my system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What I do with the realized profit is also important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When I realize profit, I divide it into three funds:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>70% \u2014 Reinvestment Fund<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>20% \u2014 Personal Income Fund<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>10% \u2014 Opportunity Reserve Fund<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The purpose is to give the realized profit a job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m not simply selling and then wondering what to do with the money afterward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I already have a framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I explain this part of my strategy in more detail in my next article\/video about the <strong>70\/20\/10 profit allocation strategy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Linea Is the Example<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m using Linea as the example because it is one of the cryptocurrencies in my portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, the general idea is not necessarily limited to Linea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Different cryptocurrencies have different price ranges, volatility and characteristics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Therefore, I can adjust the levels and percentages depending on the asset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For me, the important part is the process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Define the levels.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Follow the levels.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Take partial profit.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Manage the realized profit.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I Don&#8217;t Need to Know What Linea Will Do<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most important lessons I&#8217;ve learned from investing is that I don&#8217;t need to know exactly what the market will do tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I can&#8217;t control that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What I can control is how I manage my capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I can decide:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>how much I invest,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>how much risk I am willing to take,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>when I want to realize some profit,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and what I do with the realized profit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>That&#8217;s where my attention is.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A good investment system doesn&#8217;t need to predict everything correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For me, a good system is one that gives me a plan when things don&#8217;t go exactly as expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe Linea goes much higher than I expect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe it doesn&#8217;t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe I take profit too early.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe later I wish I had waited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s okay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m not trying to make the perfect decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m trying to make a decision that fits my system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">My Linea Profit Taking Strategy in Simple Terms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, when do I take profit from Linea?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I use predefined price ranges and four profit-taking levels:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>10% \u2014 20% \u2014 30% \u2014 40%<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The level depends on the price range and where Linea is within my personal framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And again, these percentages refer to <strong>the profit I am realizing<\/strong>, not necessarily the percentage of keeping part of my position invested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For me, this creates a balance between taking something off the table and maintaining exposure to the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">My approach is simple:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I don&#8217;t try to predict the top.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I try to manage my position.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Thoughts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My Linea profit-taking strategy is based on one simple idea:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I want to make important decisions before emotions take over.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I don&#8217;t know whether Linea will go higher, lower or sideways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I don&#8217;t know where the exact top will be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And I don&#8217;t need to know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead, I use predefined levels, gradual profit-taking and a plan for what happens after I realize the profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This approach won&#8217;t guarantee profits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is simply the framework I personally use to manage my Linea investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>No hype.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>No unrealistic predictions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Just my own process, my decisions and what I learn along the way.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If
